New build handover package: as-built calculations, EPCs and the evidence pack
The handover package closes out Part L on a completed development. We update the calculations to what was actually built, produce the on-construction EPC for each dwelling, and assemble the evidence set — as-built calculations, air test certificates, commissioning records and the compliance report — in the form building control asks for at completion. It suits sites where design-stage work was done elsewhere, or where certificates and paperwork were never finished.

Awais is an accredited domestic and commercial energy assessor and the owner of Team EPC Ltd, which trades as Part L Consultant. He has surveyed and lodged EPCs across flats, houses, HMOs, managed portfolios and commercial premises throughout London and the Home Counties, and is currently studying an MSc in philosophy alongside running the business.
